What’s Trending: Socks with Heels

I have been wearing my little socks with heels for a few years now and don’t plan on giving that up. Looks like I don’t have to because the “socks with shoes” trend was big last Spring, this past Fall/Winter and again this Spring. They were all over the Chanel and Prada mannequins in Las Vegas for Spring and also seen in the Louboutin Spring campaign.  Now, the sock and Mary Jane shoe, socks with sandals, heels and booties is once again all over the runways. Prada, Chanel, Hilfiger, Missoni, Gucci and Louboutin, just to name a few. I think these looks are so adorable! Love the mix of colors with the dresses and shoes. I also love the Prada “toeless” socks. Thank you haute couture for bringing in a little Bethielife.

Some people have asked me where I shop for socks. I like American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, Happysocks.com, and, of course, Ebay and Amazon.

My dress from Anthropologie.

I really like seeing women wear socks with heels, especially frilly ones. Yea, keep wearing them!
