At the end of 2024, the Astrodome Conservancy unveiled “Vision Astrodome” , an innovative, viable and sustainable redevelopment concept for the iconic Astrodome. The exciting, bold vision sparks renewed optimism for the future of the 8th Wonder of the World and challenges Houstonians and Harris County leadership to once again aim for the impossible. The Astromdome celbrates its 60th year. In 1965, the Dome inspired dreams and represented the ingenuity that still defines Houston. In 2025, the Astrodome Conservancy will continue to woork to ensure a bright future and re-use of the beloved Dome.
