/skout/ was created out of owner Diane Caplan’s love of jewelry, whether it be designer, handmade or vintage, anything unique and different has always caught her eye. How you accessorize is an expression of your own individual style and personality.  New collections are arriving weekly from designers across the country and Diane is “scouting” out vintage finds 24/7.  Diane grew up a tomboy and likes pieces with an edge. No frilly bows for this girl. You can mix these pieces with a ladylike dress to give it a little spike or wear with jeans and a tee. She especially loves vintage items from the 60’s and 70’s, all of which are statement pieces she obtains from various antique dealers. Diane appreciates quality and craftsmanship showcasing designers which are passionate about their work. I think these items are price-friendly, especially since they all look like unique works of art. Most are around $200 or less!
