Event: The 2014 Little Black Dress Designer Kick Off Party

The Little Black Dress Designer Kick-Off party was held at Tootsies last week. They put on an amazing fashion show and announced the 10 muses of LBDD…I am so honored to be one of them!!

Like Project Runway, LBDD discovers who’s next in local fashion design and challenges the chosen students to recreate a fashion icon, the Little Black Dress.  In addition, this year, the top contestants will get a chance to remake their LBD for a select group of 10 Houston women “muses” from the “runway to her way” with an event scheduled for October 8, 2014 at Neiman Marcus.

I don’t know who my student designer is yet, but I’m sure one thing I’ll tell him/her right off the bat is “make that dress shorter!!!”
