The Houston Ballet Ball, The Masked Ball – A Tribute to Romeo and Juliet, will be held on February 18, 2015.  It is being chaired by Melissa and Michael Mithoff/ Monsour Taghdisi and Henry Richardson.  Honorees are Phoebe and Bobby Tudor, two of Houston’s most well-respected philanthropists.  A kick-off party was held recently at the home of  Melissa and Michael Mithoff.  A special selection of jewels were on display from Tenenbaum & Co. Many of the jewels will be available for auction at the Ball.  The Ball Art Auction, containing major works curated by Barbara Davis Gallery, were also on display at the party. In addition, there  were several unique masks and gowns designed by esteemed local designer, David Peck.  He stated that he can “design a dress around a mask, or design a mask around a dress”. I would say that’s win-win!  See you at the Ball and the premier of Romeo and Juliet!
