Location: River Oaks District
I’m framed in pink at this creative art installation by Huestone at River Oaks District.
HUESTONE, was conceptualized by local designer and Houstorian, James Glassman. His installation brings to life five monochromatic vignettes inspired by Houston’s vibrant history and culture. Each life-size display is complete with a backdrop matched to the selected color and complete with props to create a perfect photo opportunity. Perfect for all ages the gallery space invites you to take a colorful walk down Houston’s memory lane.
The MFAH award winning fashion designer Luisa Nadarajah, had a breakthrough, in 2015, while making car parts and bike tubes dresses to later be exhibited at the MFAH. Since then she has built a fashion brand that is responsible for giving voice to our environment and many artisans.
This pink girlie outfit has a unique hand sustainable embroidered appliqué that enhances the the design. Consequently, it’s been the most wanted look at her fashion show in 2019.
