Virtuosi of Houston  – Young Artists Chamber Orchestra recently held a Gala Preview Party at Post Oak Motor Cars. The upcoming Legends of the Future: Celebrating the U.K. Gala will be held Saturday, May 13th. Honorary Chairmen for the gala are Margaret Alkek Williams and Monzer Hourani. Chairmen are Donna and Tony Vallone/Staci and Quang Henderson. Advisory Chairmen are Zarine and Meherwan Boyce. Guests were treated to beautiful symphony music by Virtuosi students while posing for pics among all the amazing Bentleys and Rolls Royces!

The gala is honoring  British companies and persons this year as the orchestra is going to the UK for a week in March. They plan to honor Clive Christian as a quintessentially British Brand in the luxury and bespoke luxury goods world globally.  Victoria Christian, a long time friend of Zarine Boyce, will attending and  accepting the Award as the Global Ambassador for Clive Christian. I recently got to meet Victoria Christian at an event at Saks Fifth Avenue and she is the cutest and nicest gal!!

Virtuosi of Houston (VoH) was founded in 1996 as a premier youth chamber orchestra for gifted instrumentalists to increase education and performance opportunities leading to a music profession for Houston’s middle to high school age musicians and to bring an expanded repertoire of chamber works to Houston audiences. The chamber group is smaller than a typical symphony orchestra, allowing these exceptional musicians to experience increased confidence, leadership, responsibility and skill through individual attention from two world-class conductors Andrzej Grabiec, Professor of Violin, and Franz Anton Krager, Director of Orchestras, both from the University of Houston, Moores School of Music.
