Location: Malia Mills

When Malia Mills was in college she started making swimwear, sent one of her suits to a friend who worked at Sports Illustrated, and the rest is history! Malia was recently in Houston visiting her store on Westheimer and Kirby and I got to spend the afternoon with her trying on clothes and taking photos. She is so fun and her swimsuits, separates, clothing and accessories are stunning. Malia Mills is known for creating specialized swimsuits that are fitted to each woman. She has filled a niche of “we are not all shaped the same on the top and bottom please”. Malia’s mantra is “Love Thy Differences” and she exudes that personally as well as through her line.

This amazing tulle dress I am wearing can be worn with a fitted swimsuit  or slip underneath. I love its feminine look, but with a bit of edge.

This gentleman just came out of the barber shop and wanted to be in our shoot!! We were like, heck yes! He gave me his card, and I misplaced it, so if anyone knows him, lemme know, because he wanted to show his wife these pics of what he was doing that afternoon!! Ha ha.
