From New York to Paris to Milan to London, one of the prominent shoe trends for Spring/Summer were “lace up” shoes and “lace up ballerina” flats. Who better to model this look than Houston Ballet ballerina Natalie Varnum. Walk through the shoe departments of Saks, Neimans, and Nordstrom and you will see so many cute styles of these must-have lace up shoes by many of the designers. Lace up ballet flats, high heels, block heels, closed-toe, open-toe, booties and some that lace all the way up the calf. As a former ballet dancer, this will be an easy trend for me to follow 🙂
