I am 50% Scottish and love to wear plaid to honor my Scottish heritage. Christmas is coming soon and I have so many fond memories of Christmas Day growing up and while raising my own children. I can’t wait for Santa to come next weekend and am so fortunate to have family and friends that I love so much. I miss my Dad this Christmas and am so proud of the stories he told me over the years of how our ancestors came from Southern Scotland and settled in Northern Illinois to till the land.
