Américas River Oaks played host Monday night to VIP supporters of Stages Repertory Theatre’s 40th Anniversary Gala, Off the Ball: A Stages Cinderella Story. Gala Chairs Elaine and Ray Messer and Underwriter Chairs Judy and Jim Nicklos, along with Artistic Director Kenn McLaughlin and Managing Director Mark Folkes, welcomed guests in Américas’ gorgeous private Alegrias room. Guests enjoyed cocktails and sampled Américas’ signature Latin fare as they toasted the upcoming Gala honoring beloved Stages actor, director and Board member Sally Edmundson.
Stages’ 40th Anniversary Gala, which will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, at The Corinthian with an outrageous fairytale theme, boast record sales to date with just over a month to go before the main event. Auction Committee members Vicki Rizzo, Krish Arora, Brenda Jones and Alexis Rogers were in attendance and excited about the array of crave-worthy items and experiences that will be on offer. Also spotted were Stages Board Chair George Lancaster, Jo and Jim Furr, Susie and Sanford Criner, Nicole and James Lassiter, Mauri Oliver, Joanna and Stephen Handel, Myrtle Jones and C.C. and Duke Ensell.
