I absolutely love showcasing local Houston designers on my website, so when I had the opportunity to visit Mod Chic, I was all in! Ebele Iloanya,  founder, designer and creative director of Mod Chic, is beautiful, charming and talented. Oh, and did I mention she loves bows! She is so Bethie!

MOD Chic was founded in 2009  out of the desire to help women feel confident and sexy without being too outrageous. Miss E (as people affectionately call her) believes you can be classy and still be sexy. She want s women to make their own personal style statement. Fashion is about so much more than clothing. It’s your personal signature, your mission statement, your exclamation to the world that you have something to say worth listening to. Her creations are crafted from the finest fabrics with vibrant colors that can be worn through the seasons and mixed and matched all year round. With a wide array of designs ranging from accessories to outerwear,  Mod Chic has something that suits virtually every woman.

I love this stunning light black sweater with puffy polka dot sleeves and attached ribbon that Miss E carefully crafted into the perfect bow. The black skirt is a classic flattering mermaid style, made of a rich fabric light wool. These pieces are classic, yet feminine and can be kept in your wardrobe for many years.
