One of my dearest long time friends, Lisa Aaronson, who used to be the  Fashion Director at Saks Fifth Avenue, debuted her beautiful new clothing line at Whim. For the past few years every time we went to lunch she would talk about her dream of starting her own collection one day. Well that day has finally come!

Lisa got her Fashion degree from University of Texas, but a couple of  years ago she decided to brush up those skills at Houston Community College. She took several classes including  couture design, pattern making, draping and knit wear. From there Lisa took the next step, fabric shopping and designing. Most of her garments are made with luscious silks, and her laces are made from cotton. She travels to Los Angeles and New York to choose all of her fabrics.

Her brand new collection, Lisa Aaronson, is now available at Whim Boutique. Whim opened about a year ago and the owner Cindy Reich carries emerging designers that give this boutique a unique colletion of fashions.

When Lisa isn’t busy with her new clothing company, she stays busy as a mom of three grown sons and loves to take a good yoga class. She also goes to lunch with Bethie on occasion!
