If the shoes STILL fit, wear them. Even if they don’t fit or feel the same, because you haven’t worn them for 40 years! If they are a part of who you were and always will be….wear them.Β
I am painfully (lol) and proudly wearing my pointe shoes, that I haven’t worn since I was 19. I have taken many ballet classes since then, but not in toe shoes. We all have a past which continues to define who we are and always will be. Ballet forever.
