Hunter Bell was founded in 2006 by Southern born Hunter Bell.  This New York based designer was in Houston recently making an appearance at Cakewalk Style Shop.  Her line is carried in over 150 boutiques nationwide as well as on Revolve.com, Shopbop.com and Nordstrom.com. Maybe her success can be attributed to the fact that she reads “entrepreneur” books in her spare time  or maybe due to her being a self-proclaimed perfectionist.  All the ladies who attended this party, however, would agree that her success is due to the beautiful clothing and jewelry she has designed.  Her line includes abstract muted prints, graphic prints, flirty dresses and peplum tops, sexy yet modest cut-outs and sophisticated crop tops with skirts.  She uses several types of fabrics, including neoprene, which are all very soft and comfortable and also carries several pieces in black tones.

Hunter was the well-deserved winner of NBC’s reality competition Fashion Star in its second season. She produces all of her garments in New York City’s garment district.  When she’s not working, she loves to attend music concerts or jazz clubs – anywhere music-oriented.

Hunter describes her line as “southern girl with a New York state of mind” which is exactly what this gorgeous gal is!
