The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. Growing up, my family took me every 4th to our country club where we enjoyed rides, swim meets, played golf, had cotton candy, participated in races, watched fireworks, then the evening ended with a dance in the ballroom. Years later, I raised my kids doing the same thing, so they also have the same fond memories. My Dad had a golf cart that he would park in the same strategic location every year near the 18th green so we could have the best view of the fireworks.

Happy 4th of July week everyone. May the red, white and blue bring you love and joy like it did me.
