The Deacons of Deadwood are a Motorcycle Club (MC) that is also a 501(C)3 Non – Profit organization that raises money for Houston Area Children’s Charities.  They were founded in 2002, and since that time have donated almost $2M to Houston Children’s Charities.

Their primary fundraiser event each year is a truly unique Charity Ball that has become one of the best parties in Houston. Over the last 5 years they have brought in major rock-n-roll acts Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Billy Gibbon’s Moving Sidewalks, and last year they hosted Bret Michaels. This year, by popular demand, Bret Michaels is coming back and they hired  Cinderella’s, Tom Keifer as Bret’s back-up band. In addition to the 2 live concerts,  guests will be treated to top-shelf, open bar all night, catered fine dining from Demeris’, and they are giving away a 2015 Indian Chief Vintage & a Custom Bobber from Houston Retro Bobbers. There will be a free cigar bar, shot blocks, tequila bars and a number of unique special amusements including painted ladies. There is also a live and silent auction with some of the most unique items you could wish for.

This year’s Ball is on September 19th.  Ticketing information and sales are at deaconsofdeadwood.com.  Their membership reads like a Who’s Who list of prominent Houstonians, including lawyers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, DJ’s and professional athletes. Thank you to current President Kirk “Captain Kirk” Lane for making this photo shoot such a fun experience!

My dress is by Becky Hollands. For an up-to-the-moment mix, smooth and perforated leathers shape his chic sheath with adjustable closure at back bodice to enhance the fit and comfort. Different hem lengths add to the architectural silhouette. This versatile LBD can be worn four seasons. Wear it on its own or layer it for the Fall. This is part of a limited edition capsule collection available in December. For inquiries, contact [email protected].
My jewelry and purse is from /skout/. The nail jewelry and leather torso necklace are designers from /skout/ , which features indie artists from around the world that focus on one of a kind and quality handmade pieces. Visit skoutshop.com or email [email protected].
