A “Courtly” gown from Tootsies

September 7, 2018 by Beth Muecke Leave a Comment

Location: Tootsies

Gala season is about to begin and that means gala gowns! I like to make the rounds to some of my favorite stores and see what they have for the new season. I am starting at Tootsies with this incredible gown by Alexander McQueen. This stunning gown would be perfect for next month’s Museum of Fine Arts Ball. It’s theme is “The Courtly Ball” celebrating Tudors to Windsors.

The theme is the MFA Ball is in celebration of its upcoming exhibit. In a sweeping survey, Tudors to Windsors showcases portraits of British royalty spanning 500 years, by artists from Hans Holbein and Sir Joshua Reynolds to Annie Leibovitz and Andy Warhol. The MFAH is the only U.S. venue to host this unprecedented exhibition. The exhibit runs from October 7, 2018 – January 27, 2019.
