Follow that Nutcracker!! Houston Ballet Artistic Director Stanton Welch’s spectacular production of The Nutcracker has returned this holiday season. As a result of flooding from Hurricane Harvey, Houston Ballet’s home venue, the Wortham Theater, is closed until mid-2018, leaving the company unable to perform there 🙁 But two other venues came to the rescue! The Nutcracker was shown at the Smart Financial Centre from Dec. 10-23rd and  will be shown at the Hobby Center from Dec. 30-Jan. 6th. Go see this amazing ballet that was completely recreated by Stanton Welch last year. I have my ticket and am heading to the The Hobby with dinner first at it’s fantastic restaurant Artista!
