Mary Frances and I had the best time dressing up and feeling ladylike in these feminine, classic  skirts and blouses by Alex Stone from Sloan/Hall. Theses outfits bring to mind a retro pair of ladies heading out to a country club party. I love the colors, the mix of patterns, soft fabrics and flirty swing to the skirts. Beautiful! Mary Frances, the current Miss Teen Houston, looks adorable and fresh-faced in her long skirt and blouse.

After finishing SMU, designer Alex Stone set his sights on LA and worked for LA fashion house Thomas Wylde. But the siren song of home called him back to Dallas and the determination to launch his first self-named collection for Fall. Starting with very lady-like shapes, the collection then uses bold color and prints that clash in a fantastically over the top way! Florals, filigrees and geometrics land on elegant skirts, blouses, dresses and gowns.
